Presidential Secretariat launches two books

Two books relating to the Moragahakanda reservoir and the Polonnaruwa reservoir were released to the public by the Presidential Secretariat today (Jul 31).

President Maithripala Sirisena presided over the event at the BMICH which saw the release of two books namely 'Polonnaruwa' and 'Moragahakanda Dream Reservoir'.

The book titled 'Polonnaruwa' had been authored by Senior Professor E.A. Wickremesinghe, Tikiri Herath Gunathilaka, and L.A Jayatissa. It could be viewed online on www.kiyawamu.lk

According to the President's Media Division, the book titled 'Polonnaruwa' revolves around the transformation of the district since being a kingdom until todate.
