Unidentified vessel seized with 60 kilos of narcotics in the Southern seas : Navy

An unidentified fishing vessel with 60 kilograms of narcotics was seized in the Southern seas today (Jul 11), the Navy Spokesman said.

The identity of the vessel has not been determined yet since it did not carry a flag or markings on its hull as well.

Navy personnel are taking measures to escort the ship back to the shore.

Meanwhile, four persons had also been arrested with a multi-day fishing trawler containing narcotics in the Southern seas yesterday.

Navy suspect that the samples of narcotics which had been seized yesterday and today maybe from the same origin. Further investigations continue.
