Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen is due to give evidence before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) investigating the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks tomorrow (26).

The PSC sittings are due to commence at 2.00pm in Parliament.

Meanwhile, the PSC has also decided to summon Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene and former Law and Order Ministers Sagala Rathnayaka and Ranjith Madduma Bandara to testify. Accordingly, all four are expected to give evidence before the PSC in the coming days.

The PSC is also of the opinion that President Maithripala Sirisena should be summoned to testify in his capacity as Minister of Law and Order, given that he currently holds the Police Department under him.
