Navy nab two persons with 760g of Kerala cannabis

Naval personnel apprehended two persons with 760g of Kerala cannabis during a raid conducted in Wellamadama area, Dondra last night, Navy said.

Accordingly, a group of naval personnel attached to the Southern Naval Command combined with STF personnel arrested these 02 suspects for possessing Kerala cannabis. The apprehended persons have been identified as residents of Pitabaddara and Akuressa, aged 26 and 34. The two suspects along with cannabis were handed over to Matara Police for onward investigation.
