Minuwangoda unrest : 30 suspects released on bail, 17 further remanded

A total of 30 suspects who were arrested over the recent unrest in Minuwangoda have been released on bail today (May 22).

The suspects were released on a surety bail of Rs 100,000 each upon orders of the Minuwangoda Magistrate's Court this morning.

However, 17 other suspects who were arrested over the unrest have been further remanded.
