Big Match: Sri Rahula beat Sumangala by 7 wickets

Sri Rahula Vidyala, Katugastota rode on the shoulders of their bowling pair Dilshan Arambagedara and Akash Gardiyawasam, to record a comfortable 7-wicket win against Sri Sumangla College, Kandy in their annual Limited Overs Big Match cricket encounter played at Pallekele on Saturday (30).
 
Sri Sumangala skipper's decision to bat first, after winning the toss, proved to a costly one after the game ended in a low scoring battle, with Arambagedara snatching five scalps, conceding just seven runs. 

Sri Sumangala Kandy 86 all out (34.3) (Dilshan Arambagedara 5/7, Akash Gardiyawasam 3/25) 

Sri Rahula Katugastota 87 for 3 wickets (33.2) (Madushan Paranavithana 30n.o., Kushan Senerath 26, Lahiru Bandara 2/29)
