Cycling: Inter-Club Championship 2019 on March 24 at Town Hall

The Inter-Club Cycling Championship 2019, will take place on March 24 at the Vihara Maha Devi Park Cycling track. 

Men and Women, Junior Boys and Girls along with Under-23 Super and Veteran Cyclists in Mountain, Standard and Road categories of bikes will take the track in 17 events. 

Application forms are available at the Sri Lanka Cycling Federation (SLCF) Headquarters, Ministry of Sports, Torrington Place, Colombo 7, by Clubs affiliated to the SLCF. 

Participants who are not members of any Cycling Club, are permitted to compete on a licence issued by the SLCF. 

In recognition of new competitors of Mountain cycles, three events have been included for Junior Men and Women and Men Under-23 . 

Numbers for participants will be issued on Saturday, March 23, from 8.00am to 3.00pm at the SLCF headquarters. 

The meeting of the Managers of Cycling Clubs is scheduled for March 23, at the Hemasiri Fernando Auditorium, Sri Lanka National Olympic Committee, Colombo 7. 

The events are as follows: 

School Boys and Girls - Standard (born in 2004/2005) 

Junior Men and Women - Standard (born in 2001/2002/2003) 

Junior Men and Women - Mountain 

Junior Men and Women - Road 

Senior Men and Women - Standard 

Under-23 Men - Mountain (born in 1997/1998/1999/2000) 

Under-23 Men - Road 

Super Men and Women - Road 

Veterans Men - Road (Over-30, 50 and 60)
