Rugby: SLR names 36-member Under-20 7s squad

Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) named a 36-member Under-20 7s squad to kick off training for the upcoming Asian Under-20 Sevens Series which will take place in August. 

Following the school rugby season and the inter-club 7s tournament, the newly appointed Selection Committee of SLR named a preliminary squad of 36 members who would fall within the required age category for the regional competition. 

Training will commence in the coming days under the newly appointed Sri Lanka Under-20 7s Rugby coach Nilfer Ibrahim.

The squad will be pruned down in the coming weeks before naming the final team of 12 members.
