Hindi courses for children and adults

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (Indian Cultural Centre) is announcing admission to new session of Hindi courses conducted at the Centre for the session 2018 - 2019.

The classes will commence from June 2018. Application forms for the courses are available 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. on all weekdays at the Centre,16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07.

The course duration for each levels is one year. The students are taught the syllabus followed by Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, India. The examinations of the courses are conducted every year by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra and certificates are issued by KHS, Agra. The classes are conducted by a specialist Hindi teacher from India and Sri Lankan. A language lab for Hindi has also been active at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre.

Courses offered:
 Hindi for the Level 100 (beginners), Level 200 (intermediate), Level
300 (advanced) and 400 (Post graduate Level or higher).
 Proficiency in Hindi Language course (beginners)
 Higher Certificate Hindi language part 1 (intermediate)
 Higher Certificate Hindi language part 2 (Advanced)
 Spoken Hindi course
 Children Hindi course ( ages of 7 – 15 years)
 Special classes for GCE (O) Level and GCE (A) level for Hindi as foreign
language.
 Special short term Hindi classes(groups)
