Kandy violence: TID questions Dilum for 12 hours

Joint Opposition MP Dilum Amunugama was allowed to leave the Terrorist Investigation Department (CID) last night after being questioned for almost 12 hours by detectives over the recent violent incidents in the Kandy district. 

The MP had been summoned to the TID last morning to record a statement over the communal violence that took place in Kandy in March. 

TID detectives allowed him to leave at about 11.30pm yesterday.
