Day three of HSBC Colombo Fashion drew to a close on Saturday night (March 24) and ended the main designer showcase for the 2019 Spring/Summer season. The showcase had a lineup of both international and Sri Lankan designers as well as a collection by Ponds.

The showcase started off with the collection of Bibi Russell. Collections by Charini, FH, Dimuthu, Ponds, Conscience, and Buddhi Batiks followed up the ramp. The show  ended with Hemant Trivedi’s showcase.

The collections had a variety of colours and silhouettes embedded with interesting embellishments and patterns on the clothes, asymmetric sleeves and bottoms of pants. In addition, the collection presented a both western and eastern look to it. Buddhi Batiks stood  out with its intricate patterns and conscious for its simple yet greatly complex bottoms.
