A glimpse at Hollywood actress Ashley Judd's mission to Sri Lanka

UN Goodwill Ambassador and Hollywood actress, Ashley Judd who recently concluded a short mission in Sri Lanka told media recently she was empathetic towards Sri Lanka’s war victims.

During her visit to Sri Lanka, Judd  engaged with women and girls from different backgrounds, to learn about their livelihoods and views on gender-based violence,  a statement from the UNFPA office in Colombo said.

The UNFPA office released the following images from her visit.
