Police seize over 3600 forged lottery tickets

Police in Udupussellawa, Hatton have seized 3629 forged Development Lottery tickets, busting a major racket involving forged lottery tickets.

Each forged ticket was priced at Rs.20 and had the same serial number, police added. 

A 29-year-old suspect from Kandy has been arrested in connection with the racket and investigations are ongoing.
