Live Mas - Live More with Tex Mex cuisine Taco Bell – the American fast food chain specializing in Mexican/ Texan food will soon open its doors in Colombo.

Taco Bell started in the 1940’s in the USA and since then has spread worldwide. Taco Bell Corp. is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands inc. and caters to 24 markets across the globe.

Gamma Pizzakraft Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a pioneer in the Sri Lankan food scene with Delifrance and Pizza Hut under their belt, holds the franchise for Taco Bell locally.

“We are delighted to bring the Taco Bell experience to Sri Lanka and its discerning restaurant-goers. We are confident that the Taco Bell experience will resonate with us all,” stated the Managing Director of Gamma Pizzakraft Lanka - Amar Raj Singh at a press conference on Tuesday. The outlet situated at 36, Horton Place, Colombo 7 -promises fast food lovers a stylish experience. One of the walls is adorned with a large mural carrying a Sri Lankan artist’s work thus giving the cafe a local flavour.

Taco Bell’s treats are customize -able on an interactive screen. Other than Taco Bell’s usual menu of different flavored Tacos, Burritos and Quesadillas, Taco Bell will be offering Batter- fried

Crispy Fish uniquely in Sri Lanka. Taco Bell opens on July 17.
