Day two of the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week

Day two of the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week saw the opening of the Main Designer Showcase. Held at the Hilton Colombo Ballroom, day two took place on March 16. The show featured 8 collections from both Sri Lankan and international Designers.

 

The runway featured several returning designers including Upeksha Hager who showcased under the brand ‘U by Upeksha’, and Ramona Oshini Jayawardena , the designer of ‘Ramona Oshini’. The night also saw collections from the designers Jaishree Jayasingha (Jai), Asanka de Mel (Lovi Ceylon), Nilanka Silva (La’ Sari), Aslam Hussein and Amilani Perera. The show closed with a collection by the Italian designer Gaetano Navarra of the Milan Fashion Week fame.
