"Thaaththa Bindu Udagedara asked", what is all this fuss about the Crown Prince?

"What about him" Percy, Bindu's father wanted to know, "is he going to get married....."

"I don't know when he is going to get married, but he appears to be ready to have a home-coming...."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because there are stories that he will return to the Blue Party..."

"Then, the Honeymoon with the Greens is over..."

"It looks like that..."

"But will Satellite take him back after all the nasty things he has said about her?....."

"He has been critical of her, yes, but he hasn't said anything really nasty about her, has he?" Bindu queried.

"I suppose so" Percy agreed.

"But thaaththa", Bindu wondered, "why is this sudden interest to take the Crown Prince back?"

"That's all the work of the Queen Bee" Percy said.

"How is that?"

"Because it is now apparent that the General has ideas about being Number Two, the day the Queen Bee retires..."

"I thought that would be an obvious choice..." Bindu said.

"Why do you say that?"

"Why thaaththa, who else is there? Do you want The Moo or Jeyaraj or Credit Card Sam to take over?"

"Why, what about the Professor or Lucky K?"

"But thaaththa, they are very junior in the party, aren't they, though they are good professionals..."

"That may be true..." Percy conceded.

"So, what is wrong with the General?"

"It appears that the Queen Bee doesn't like him at all...."

"Why is that?"

"Well, he did say some nasty things about the Crown Prince that were also insults to the Queen Bee..."

"So, she wants the Crown Prince back, so he could take-over when she retires..."

"That appears to be the plan , Percy said," after all, blood is thicker than water..."

"But that applies even to the General, doesn't it?"

"But there's nothing like keeping it in the immediate family..."

"Why do you say that?"

"Why Bindu, don't forget that for all of forty years it has been a Bee who has led the Blues..."

"But thaaththa, who is the broker in all this?"

"They say All Countries Seen is having a hand..'

"But he has always been a loyal Green man, hasn't he?"

"Yes", Percy agreed, "but in politics, one can never say, Bindu..."

"So, what do you think will happen?'

"I am only certain of one thing..."

"What is that ?"

"If the Crown Prince rejoins the Blues, they will have to make plans to go back to the Opposition..."

Bindu didn't disagree with that.
