‘Pursuing a Vision of Justice’ book launch

Governor of New South Wales, Australia, Margaret Beazley AC KC, was the keynote speaker at the launch of lawyer Maithri Panagoda’s book “Pursuing a Vision of Justice”, edited by lawyer Senaka Weeraratne, at Parliament House in Canberra recently.
The Governor referred to the book as “historical: a personal history; a history of two countries; a history of how a community from one country became a community in another country; how the Sri Lankan community became an Australian community without losing their love for Sri Lanka,” and commended the book as a read “from cover to cover”.
