Ajantha takes reins of CMI UK, Sri Lanka Branch

Prof Ajantha Dharmasiri, the immediate past director of the Postgraduate Institute of Management, was appointed President of the Chartered Management Institute, UK (CMI) – Sri Lanka Branch.
Ajantha, as Vice President of CMI Sri Lanka Branch, contributed to raise managerial competencies among professionals in Sri Lanka. He’s a rare combination of a Chartered Manager, Chartered HR professional and Chartered Electrical Engineer. As President of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), he became the first Sri Lankan to lead both CIPM and CMI. He is an adjunct professor at Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma.
