Invidently, aper the latest report  Employability Survey done by SLASCOM in Sri Lanka, it has been revealed that the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology( APIIT), has come out strongest on the ‘ Skill level satisfaction for Graduates recruited from popular higher education Institutes which Includes the top University’s of Sri Lanka said Dr Rohantha Athukorala a Board Director of APIIT which mirrors the words that the Unilever Chairperson echoed at the APIIT Graduation.

APIIT with a history of 25 years employ the best lectures in the industry with hands on experience so that when students study at APIIT they are equipped with the most contemporary theories and best case studies that happen in the world of business. The youth is our only future in Sri Lanka and we strongly practice the ethos ‘ Love for Learning’ said Bandula Egodage the Chairman APIIT Sri Lanka.

On the attributes “ Communication Skills’ with a score of 3.6 rating APIIT was ranked the best among all listed education institutes that included the top line University’s like Colombo, Moratuwa, Kelaniya and University of Peradeniya. This is one skill that we develop a youngster on said Dr Athukorala. We have strategic partnerships with the top organisations in Sri Lanka in this sector like – HCL, Virtusa, John Keells IT, Cambio, Orel IT etc just to name a few, and our promise is that we will give 600 top graduates to the industry said Dr Athukorala.

On the other core skills like ‘ Analytical problem solving’  and ‘ Conceptual Knowledge’ the research survey of SLASSCOM reveal that APIIT scores the strongest against all private sector campuses. This data reveal the strong focus that the APIIT Faculty has towards the development of the skill of youngsters said Athukorala and commended the faculty for developing strategic partnerships with companies that has led to almost a weekly basis soft skill training by the private sector at the APIIT Campus. Very soon we will admit students post an entrance interview said APIIT in a communique.
