‘The Contractor’ in town
View(s):Hollywood action thriller film directed by Tarik Saleh as his English-language debut is now being screened in theatres around Colombo and outstation.
Starring Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Gillian Jacobs, Eddie Marsan, J. D. Pardo, Florian Munteanu, and Kiefer Sutherland the film revolves around a special forces sergeant who was involuntarily discharged from the Army and lands a contract with a private underground military force. When his very first assignment goes awry, the elite soldier finds himself hunted and on the run, caught in a dangerous conspiracy and fighting to stay alive long enough to get home and uncover the true motives of those who betrayed him.
Filming began in Europe including Fort Bragg on October 2019 and wrapped in the filming at the end of 2019.
Released on April 1, by Paramount Pictures and STXfilms the film is now being screened at LSC – Liberty by Scope Cinemas, CCC – Colombo City Center, PVR Colombo 2, KCC – Kandy City Center and Majestic Cinema Colombo.
