At UCL students have the opportunity to undertake the first two years of the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Applied Computer Science Degree programs offered directly by Dalhousie University Canada. Students after A/L’s (Local or Edexcel / Cambridge) can directly pursue a British Honours Degree in International Business or Software Engineering as an internal student of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)UK (UGC recognized) with one year Industry placement (Internship) at Blue-chip companies and multi-nationals and software companies in Sri Lanka leading to guaranteed job opportunities.

Students can transfer to the UK university either final year and obtain the post study work VISA for another two year of they can complete the Degree in Sri Lanka and fly out to the UK to obtain a Masters Degree with one year paid internship and post study work VISA for another two years.

A Fairy-Tale Come AliveThe Valedictorian of the 2021 graduating batch of UClan, Ms. Viduri Tatiana Dediyagala likened her unforgettable experience as an International Business student at UCL to a “fairy-tale” that had invaluable lessons, challenges and insights weaved into the success-story of UCL Student-to-Graduate-to Professional. She received the highest accolade at the recent UClan Graduating Ceremony where 80% of the graduates received first-class honours.“My time at UCL was not only centered around academic work but also motivated me and a few of my batch-mates to establish the first Drama Club. From the start UCL has been committed to foster all-rounders in their student body whilst encouraging a blend of theoretical learning with productive social interactions allowing them to form essential self-efficacy leading to success”.
