A 70-year-old man who had been standing for a long time in a kerosene queue in Kandy died after he collapsed, Police said.
He died on admission to the Kandy hospital.

The man was identified as Mohamed Iliyas from Udathalawinna in Wattegama. Eyewitnesses said the man had been waiting in the queue for a long time and he collapsed after a heavy downpour.
