WNPS dives into Sri Lanka’s shipwrecks

Turning the spotlight on the country’s archaeological heritage, biodiversity hotspots and magnets for recreational divers, this month’s Wildlife and Nature Protection Society (WNPS) lecture will be on ‘Shipwrecks in Sri Lanka’.

It will be presented on January 20 at 6 pm at the Jasmine Hall of the BMICH.

The speakers are: Arjan Rajasuriya, Coral ecologist, Rasika Mutukumarana, Maritime Archaeologist, Dharshana Jayawardene, Technical Diver, and Chathurika Munasinghe, Marine Biologist.

The lecture is open to both members and non-members and would be delivered in English and Sinhala. Entrance is free, but  all attending are requested to follow all health and safety requirements at the BMICH.
