Didulana Tharaka, a book in Sinhala by veteran writer and journalist Noorulain Najmul Hussain, a retired Information Department media officer, was launched on December 4 at the Bahadeen Auditorium of Al-Hidaya National College, Colombo 10.

The book was a collection of articles and short biographies of 150 outstanding Muslim women writers.

Thinakaran Varamanjari Chief Editor Senthil Velavar, Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Rauff Hakeem, Smagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Imthiyaz Bakeer Markar Muslim Media Forum President N.M. Ameen Attorney At Law Rashid M. Imthiyaz and Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Department Director Ibrahim Ansar were among those who were present at the ceremony.
