The first Unofficial Test match between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Pakistan Shaheens saw rain spoiling proceedings of the third day with only 39 overs of play possible after a late start.

The day’s proceedings saw overnight batsmen Saud Shakeel and Omair Yousuf reaching their half tons. Saud remained unbeaten on 86 and Omair made 78, with the pair associating an unbroken stand of 163 runs for the second wicket for the visitors to end the day on 187 for 1.

The match will be continued today.
