A chance to enjoy a ‘couch safari’ of Wilpattu National Park
View(s):Ever since the pandemic descended on us, wildlife lovers have been missing their park visits. But here’s a chance to go on a couch safari as the Wilpattu National Park goes live on September 24 and 26.
Sri Lanka Tourism and the Department of Wildlife Conservation together with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH teamed up to design this initiative with the aim of promoting Sri Lanka’s wildlife to the world.
Presented by wildlife experts in Sri Lanka, the first live streaming of Wilpattu National Park will be on September 24 from 4 to 5 pm IST (+5.30 GMT) and the second live streaming on the 26th from 7.30 to 8.30 am IST (+5.30 GMT).
