The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s premier environmental enhancement solutions provider, is seeking franchisees globally for its specialised services.

Exterminators is Sri Lanka’s premier and one of the pioneers in COVID-19 disinfection and sanitation services in the world. The company is probably the world’s 1st ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000 certified and the world’s 1st ‘Carbon Neutral’ and Sri Lanka’s 1st licensed disinfection and sanitation service provider, it said in a media release.

“Franchisee benefits includes but is not limited to Exterminator’s brand recognition, technical know-hows, business start-up support and best business management practices, one-month intensive training in Sri Lanka, one-week training in your country and thereafter continuous training and 24×7 support will be provided to get your business running smoothly according to ‘Exterminators Standards’,” it said.

In addition, ISO certification guidelines, digital pest control, web-based customer web-portals, mobile apps, advanced application equipment products and marketing materials will be provided.

The release quoted Marlon Ferreira Founder/Managing Director as saying: “We believe it’s the right time to move across borders and share the know-how and experience we have gained throughout our 23-year journey in helping communities prevent disease, control nuisances and protect homes and businesses by pioneering, articulating, developing and delivering sustainable environmental enhancement and public health protection solutions. With the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have helped communities mitigate the risk and helped businesses to get back to business within hours by providing ‘Specialised Disinfection and Sanitation’ services. Since March 2020, we have disinfected 75 elders/children’s homes, 32 police stations, 35 religious institutes, schools and public places covering an area of 1.3 million sq.ft and travelling over 6000 kms free of charge.”

He further stated that businesses today are expected to be less harmful, more transparent and to actively participate in making positive changes to improve the environment. “As a leader in the environmental enhancement industry and the SME sector in Sri Lanka. We believe that we have a moral obligation to respond to this new paradigm—to adopt a business model of increased accountability,” he said.
