Ninety four year old Vithanage Aslin Leelawathie Dharmaratne has topped the list in the results of the Tripitaka and Dhamma Pali examination conducted by the Sri Sumangala Memorial Sabha recently.

She took part in the prestigious exam alongside much younger men and women, at the D.S.S Senayake College Hall in February this year. She said her aim is to obtain the degree as well.

Mrs. Dharmaratne is a grandmother and three of her children are graduates.

She is an example for all students, who are interested in improving themselves through higher educational qualifications even in their old age.
