‘Miss Jenis’ goes to Aussie

Screening of comedy film ‘Miss Jenis’, in which the late Dr. Jayalath Manoratne plays a captivating role as a woman, will be held at 6.30 pm on June 13 at Cegnet Grand Cinema at Perth in Australia.

Other roles are played by Jayalal Rohana, Duleeka Marapana, Roshan Ranawan, Giriraj Kaushalya, Oshadi Himasha, Anjelo Bans, Udari Perera, Kumara Thirimadura, Madhani Malwatte, Wasantha Kumarasiri, Kapila Samarakone and Wasundara Gamage.

Produced by Walter Abeysundara the film is screen play written and directed by the award winning teledrama director Susiran de Silva.

Behind the screen, Ayeshman Hettiarachchi is the cinematographer while Megha Priyantha handles editing and colour grading. Art director is Lucky Wijewardena, sound controller is Siran Wijayasinghe, make up by N. Prematilake and publicity managers were Nihal Sanjaya and Kisal Sanjaya.

Musical score is written by Lakshman Wijesekara and the playback songs are penned by Bandara Eheliyagoda and Nandana Wickremage and vocal renditions are by Uresha Ravihari, Sanuka Wickremesinghe and Amila Perera.

The film screening is organised by Ridma Foundation in Perth and it is coordinated by Nihal Sanjaya. The next screening of the film is to take place in Brisbane in early July.
