Dream comes true for talented Vishmi

Nineteen year- old Vishmi Shashikala is a talented actor in making. She was adjudged the best actor in the Provincial Group Drama Competition and the Second place in the All Island Drama Competition.
She studied ‘Drama and Theatre’ for both the Ordinary Level Exam and Advanced Level Exam at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyala, Colombo 7.
“I have participated in Provincial and All Island Drama Competitions in 2018 and 2019, I was able to win the First Place in the Provincial Group Drama Competition and the Second place in the All Island Drama Competition. My main ambition is to continue my drama and acting career into the national level. Working in the television and film industry will be my dream. I’m looking forward to working as an actress in the future’ she said.
In addition, she has contributed to the ‘Ranga Bhoomi’ programme on National Television Rupavahini through acting on various occasions.
