Vet Mobile App: Fulfilling a longfelt need
View(s):A longfelt need among pet owners and animal lovers was fulfilled with the launch of the Vet Mobile App by Dialog Digital Health Pvt Ltd together with the Sri Lanka Veterinary Association (SLVA) at the World Veterinary Day celebrations.
The Vet Mobile App permits a pet owner or an animal lover to contact a Veterinary Surgeon in close proximity to get treatment for his or her animal through the mobile phone. This is similar to Doc 990 which enables a patient to consult a doctor.
The Vet Mobile App was developed by Dialog Digital Health Pvt Ltd after negotiations with Chrishanti Perera, Founder of Randi Foundation. The SLVA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dialog Digital Health Pvt Ltd on this day to operate this App.
This is another animal welfare initiative by the Randi Foundation.
