The late playwright R. R. Samarakoon’s ever popular play “Kelani Palama” will be back on the stage on May 15 at at 3.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. at the Lionel Wendt theatre, Colombo.

Originally produced in October 1978, ‘Kelani Palam’, is one of the few plays in Sri Lankan theatre that has maintained its popularity every time it is staged.

The cast of Kelani Palama includes Ramya Wanigasekara, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Prasannajith Abesooriya, Madhani Malwattage, Dimuthu Chinthaka, Prasad Sooriya Arachchi and Neluka Rekani.

The play will be staged in compliance with the COVID – 19 regulations issued by the government and only limited tickets will be issued.
