A road development project was launched at the Bangalawatte Housing Scheme in Hendala, Wattala recently under the initiative of Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure State Minister Nimal Lanza. Wattala Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Thyagi de Alwis inaugurated the project by unveiling the project name board. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Alwis said the project would be completed in three months at a cost of Rs. 22.8 million. Also in the pictures are Bangalawatte Sports and Welfare Association President Kingsley Rishan and other members.
