Teachers Day celebrations in our class

We decorated our class. We came very early to decorate it. Some of my friends brought cards, balloons, party streamers, party poppers and flowers. It took about one and a half hours to decorate it. We did it beautifully.

As the teacher came in, we yelled, “Happy Teachers Day, Teacher!”
Our teacher was very surprised.
We gave our cards and worshipped her. We all were very happy so we started our day happily too.

Pets

There are many animals that we keep as pets. The most common are cats and dogs. We keep them for pleasure. It is interesting to watch them and see how they behave.

Pets need a lot of love and care. They are very loyal to us and when they get old, we must not neglect them.

Some people rear pets such as tortoises, rabbits and parrots as pets. When we keep pets in cages we are taking away their freedom.

Pros and cons of zoos
A zoo is a place where animals are kept in cages and people get the privilege to admire and study the animals. Some pros of zoos are that animals get to be studied and observed by people. Zoos educate the public about various species of animals. Animals and birds who are endangered are saved by zoos. Zoos provide a safer place for these endangered species.

On the other hand, zoos separate animals and birds from their environment and their own kind. Animals stay trapped behind cages, unable to live freely in the wild.

The animals and birds in zoos receive a small quantity of food, just enough for survival.
Zoos have its advantages and disadvantages.

Caring for our pets

We have lots of different pets such as dogs, cats, parrots, rabbits and fish.
We have to love and always should care for them by feeding them, cleaning them and looking after them. If we do that, pets also know us and feel us.

Pets are animals but they love us when we care.

Teacher’s Day

What is the meaning of Teacher’s Day? It is the day that we celebrate a teacher. We celebrate by surprising teachers with flowers, arrange a small party and gifts. We have to appreciate teachers everyday and obey them always. We have to be good with our teacher and listen to what she says, not only on Teacher’s Day.

She uses the time to spend with us and never blames or punishes us.

So Teachers Day is the best opportunity to show gratitude to them.

The lessons taught by COVID-19 to us as children

Everyone knows that the world faced a big problem, COVID-19. It taught us many positive lessons too. Not only bad effects to the society, there are good effects also.

It gave the opportunity to be with
family together with children and
grandchildren. Most of the time the
father, mother and relatives are busy with their work load. They do not have time
to talk with each other. Due to the
lockdown, it gave the opportunity to be with family members.

Next, it gave time to be at home and engage in various hobbies such as
gardening, writing, watching educational programmes, making crafts and enjoying with parents. We always go to class and are busy with our work load.

COVID-19 taught us to be clean all the time. Always we should wash our hands with soap and wash our body.

Further, COVID-19 gave us time to
help our parents at home and understand their burden. During the coronavirus
period people came out to help other
people. They helped poor people and helpless people. In this way COVID-19 helped the society in a positive way.
