As parents strolled down Greenpath looking at the various artists showcasing their work at Kala Pola 2020 on Sunday,
February 23; their kids were bringing out their inner artist at the Children’s Art Corner located inside the Colombo Public Library.

Guided by teachers from the Cora Abraham Art Classes organisation, children of all ages enjoyed their time experimenting with different mediums of art — chalk, watercolour and clay.

Ranuga Nuwan Wickremaratne, a 10 year old, was one of the youngest participants of Kala Pola. His first time exhibiting at the open art fair, he was excited to showcase his painting and sketches (mostly of wildlife) to a large audience and display his talents to the public.
