Workshops on writing and publishing for young writers

A series of half-day ‘Workshops on Writing and Publishing Fiction’ for older children and young teens will be held by well-known author Dr. Ken Spillman, starting in February. The workshops are to be held in three stages, with Stage 1 on February 26, 27 and 28; Stage II on June 9, 10 and 11; and Stage III on September 28, 29 and 30, each day from 8.30 a.m.-12.45 p.m.

Dr. Ken Spillman from Australia is the author of around 80 books, most of them for young people. His work has been translated into more than 20 languages.

The workshops in Sri Lanka are being held with the Colombo University’s National Institute of Library and Information Sciences (NILIS) as the academic partner.
