Political satire play at Punchi Theatre
“Garu Katanayakathumani”
View(s): Udayasiri Wickramarathne’s newest play, a political satire “Garu Katanayakathumani” will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.45 p.m. at air conditioned Punchi Theatre in Borella today, January 19.
The play stars Jayalal Rohana, Sulochana Weerasinghe, Sudarshana Bandara, Sanjeewa Dissanayake, Mihiri Priyangani and Ishara Wickramasinge among others.
Behind the screen Lalith Wickramarathne handles music, make up by Jayantha Kapuge and costume designing and lighting are by Mihindu Madusanka.
The play is produced and organised by Jude Srimal. All seats are box planned and tickets are now available at the theatre gate.
