Ceylinco Life wins Gold for ‘Market Reach’ at 2019 National Business Excellence Awards

Ceylinco Life’s success in aligning with its vision of protecting every Sri Lankan family with life insurance was reaffirmed when the country’s life insurance leader won Gold for ‘Excellence in Local Market Reach” at the recent 2019 National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) organised by the National Chamber of Commerce.

Ceylinco Life was also presented the Silver for Business Excellence in the Insurance category at the 16th edition of these awards, at the Hilton Colombo.

“From its very inception, Ceylinco Life has been focussed on taking the message of life insurance to the masses of our country, and has been the largest life insurer in Sri Lanka in terms of premium income since 2004,” the company’s Managing Director Thushara Ranasinghe said in a media release. “In this context, as well as in the context of our credo of ‘A Relationship for Life,’ market reach is mission-critical for the company, and this award is a welcome addition to our
collection.”

Ceylinco Life also operates the largest network of 250 plus branches in Sri Lanka’s life insurance industry, giving it a physical presence in 142 cities, towns and villages in every one of the island’s 25 districts, with a team of about 4,000 trained sales professionals.
