An unbeaten 54 off 48 balls with half a dozen boundaries by right hand batswoman Dewni Nishara was the highlight of the undecided Schools Under-19 Girls Cricket match between Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya and St. Anthony’s College, Panadura played at Pannipitiya.

Invited to bat first Dharmapala were powered to 177-6 by Dewni’s unbeaten 54 and 28 by Dimash Perera. Kaveesha Divanjali and Chathuni Nethmini captured two wickets each.

Dimini Sachiththananda, Sasangi Perera and Dhanushi Perera grabbed a wicket each to have St. Anthony’s in trouble at 15-3 in 5.5 overs when rain put an end to the game.
