The Wildlife and Nature Protection Society (WNPS) lecture this month is intriguingly titled ‘The Western Purple-Faced Langur Tree Top ‘Soap’: Who holds the ‘remote’?’

The lecture by Dr. Jinie Dela, a field researcher on primate ecology and behaviour will be on Thursday, November 21, at the Jasmine Hall of  the BMICH at 6 p.m.

Dr Dela, a visiting lecturer at the Open University and member of the National Man and Biosphere Committee of the National Science Foundation  will discuss some of the problems facing primate conservation in the country and take the audience through little known facets of their lives which shows a remarkable similarity to ours.

The lecture is open to all.
