EWC awards distribution
View(s):Winners of the English Writers Collective (EWC) Literary Competition 2019 for poetry, drama and short story will receive their awards on Friday, October 18 at the International Centre for Ethnic Studies, 2 Kynsey Terrace, off Kynsey Road, Colombo 7.
Capt Elmo Jayawardena, winner of the State Literary Award for the best English novel 2018: Kakiyan – the story of a crow, will address the gathering.
The event is from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon. Entrance is free.
