Principal- Grade III, appointments to 1,918 teachers
View(s):The Ministry of Education (MoE) will grant Principal- Grade III, appointments to 1,918 teachers, at a ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, next Saturday.
Over 3,000 teachers who sat an examination were interviewed to grant the appointments for Sinhala and Tamil mediums.
In 2016, the MoE granted Grade III Principal appointments to 2,901 teachers, for a total of 4,819 appointments in the last 3 years.
Meanwhile, 8,000 teachers will be enlisted into the National Education Colleges on September 25, from 2 batches covering the 2016 and 2017.
