Shri Vijayarama Medical camp draws large crowd
View(s):A blood donation campaign and a medical camp were held on Thursday at Shri Vijayarama in Gangodawila on Thursday to mark the 53rd birthday of Rajamahaviaharadhipathi Vinayacharya Saddarmakeerthi Shri Amunumulle Jinarathana Thera and to invoke blessings on the Easter Sunday blast victims.
The Dayaka Sabhawa of the temple, Punyodhaya Upasika society, Yashodhara Kulangana Society, Dharma Deepthi Daham Pasela, Praja Sanwardha Kendraya, Vijaya Suhadha Sangamaya and the Lions Club of Udahamulla organised the event which took place throughout the day.
A large number of people took part in the blood donation campaign while a dental clinic, an eye clinic, a programme to distribute spectacles and a clinic for non-communicable diseases were also held.
