The Avengers
Most of us are fans of ‘Marvel’ Studio’s productions. With superheroes like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch and Black Panther, Marvel has become one of the most popular studios among people.
The movie ‘The Avengers’ has won the hearts of millions of fans all around the world. We must be very thankful to the hero who created them; Mr. Stan Lee. Sadly, he passed away recently.
But it’s obvious that his name, and his
‘Marvel’-lous creations will last for years to come.

Another sad fact is that Marvel Studios are nearing their end; the recent movie, ‘Avengers – Endgame’, is said to be one of the last Marvel movies, followed by ‘Spider-Man – Far From Home.’ We might not see many more Marvel pictures being released to the public as before.
However, we can guess that the
‘Avengers’ would be a favourite for many years to come. The characters’ names, as well as Mr. Lee’s name will be remembered for a very long time.

Advantages of having a pet

From the various kinds of animals there are, some we keep as pets. They are dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits. Specially by having a dog, people can
gain a lot of advantages.
Today the world is very dangerous
and cruel. Dogs help us in many ways; such as barking at unknown strangers who come to the house or at an institution, sniffing bombs and drugs, chasing gangsters and also as a companion.
Even the cat is a cute animal that does not harm anyone. I too have a white coloured female cat. Its name is ‘Kuniyo.’ The main advantage is to destroy pests like rats, moths and flies etc. Cats are playful but they like to sleep a lot. My cat likes milk and fish.
All domestic animals are our friends and we must love them.

Autobiography of a circus lion

I am a lion born in Africa. I was born in a forest full of beautiful trees. I had a lot of friends there. My mother bathed me every day in the river. Sometimes my friends and I watched the bubbling white waterfalls.
One day my mother and I went for a bath and some people trapped us and put us into two cages. I got to know that we were taken to a circus.
We were not given much food and we were forced to do tricks. If we did not do the tricks we were always whipped. We would get food only if we did the tricks correctly.
After sometime my mother died.
I was really angry by now because she died as she was sick and not given enough food. Many people came to see me in the circus. They laughed at my tricks.
I was very angry and
I wanted to attack them but I couldn’t because I was weak and would be hit by a whip if I tried to do so.
After a few months I got weaker. I realised that my end was getting close. Anyway I am glad to leave this world.

Importance of reading

For most people, reading is a leisure activity. It has enormously affected many peoples’ lives in many different aspects. Reading has an impact on one’s future job or position. It helps to learn things that haven’t been taught in school or by a teacher. Reading daily newspapers and magazines gives information about the current situation in the outside world.

There is a saying, ‘Reading makes a full man’. If it is explored on how a man becomes intelligent the answer would be reading. In this manner he can strengthen his mind in any subject of his interest. Most top students in a class are clever as they have a habit of reading.

Reading increases intelligence and pushes someone towards new discovery, innovations and creativity.
