Half tons by Pawantha Weerasinghe, Pavan Ratnayake and Sonal Gamage paved the way for Mahanama to record a convincing seven wicket win against traditional rivals D.S. Senanayake College in the 13th Battle of the Gold’s limited over encounter played at R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.
DSS taking first lease of the wicket was bowled out for 215 runs and Mahanama in their run chase helped by the trio reached the target with ease in the 47th over.
