Love writing?
Writing is a true passion born inside the heart of a person wanting to become a writer. To write, you need to have different perspectives of familiar things we see in life. If you have it, then you feel like sharing it, with others to amuse them while being amused yourself too.
Writers must write with great intellectuality about life. It is sensible writing.

So if you want to become a writer, write from your heart. Get out your true inner spirit and write it down for others to read too. Write descriptions about things you see in life. The best way is to keep a journal.

‘Workers’ against ‘Jokers’
It is usual that there are many students who have fun during lessons. They shout, play tricks and tell jokes; all during school time. They might not intend it to happen, but doing such things disturbs the whole class. By doing so, the teachers have to stop the lessons and sacrifice their time to silence the naughty students and the students who study are forced to waste their time of study.

Indeed, it is completely inappropriate to interrupt a class during teaching sessions. However, there are some kids who do not understand this and so they disturb the class. In the end, they do not score enough marks for the exam.

This is when they feel disappointed. But the next time, they forget what happened and continue to disturb the class again.
The ‘workers’ of the class have only one way of making them learn their mistakes; getting good marks. Finally, they would realize that they are just doing things which bring bad luck to themselves, and they would stop having fun at wrong times and start studying.
This could be a great way for workers to teach a lesson to jokers.

My home town

My home town is Akurana. It is a town in Kandy district. It is a small town with all the facilities. It is a very busy town with lots of people living and working in the town. My home town has a big market. The market has all the necessary things for a low price. There are lots of trees in the town, unlike the polluted city. Therefore people live very healthy here. People in town do different jobs. My home town is a beautiful place for all individuals and animals. Our town has many schools, shops and religious places for the daily needs.

I am a fairy in Fairyland

It was a sunny morning. I woke up with a smile. With fairy dust I combed my hair and brushed my teeth. I remembered that day was the Fairy Ball. I am ‘Breeze’ the messenger fairy.
I am the youngest fairy in Fairyland. The Queen gave me the invitations to the Fairy Ball to give to the others.

Fairy Rosy is my best friend in Fairyland. She is the assistant helper of the Queen. The Queen told me to keep the invitations under each and every fairy’s pillow. Rosy and I stitched our frocks for the Fairy Ball. My friend went to help the Queen to arrange things. The Fairy Queen made a water fountain with fairy dust.

The time arrived for the Fairy Ball. There were different types of delicious food on the tables. There were sandwiches, rolls, pastry, cakes, toffees, chocolates etc. Everybody was dressed beautifully and came to the Fairy Ball. At the end we danced to the music.

I enjoyed the Fairy Ball very much.

 Good Health Habits

Good health habits are the patterns that help us to build up good health. They are very important. There are different kinds of good habits such as food habits and habits that help us to keep our body clean etc.

Bathing every day, brushing teeth twice a day, consuming nutritious food, cutting nails and protecting the cleanliness of the body are examples of good health habits.

Good health habits give us many advantages. They build up our health, help the growth of the body and increase energy to engage in daily activities and give power to resist diseases.

If we follow bad health habits it is bad for our health. If we consume tinned, artificial food with sugar and salt, it decreases the health of our body.

We should protect our body from diseases. Therefore good health habits are very important.
