Justin Timberlake resumes postponed tour

US pop star Justin Timberlake resumed his postponed Man Of The Woods tour on 4th January.

The 37 year old was compelled to cancel his tour from October last year after damaging his vocal chords. Timberlake, who is referred to as the Prince of Pop, had to reschedule his tour from January until April this year. He thanked fans for their understanding and support.

 

 

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason awarded CBE


Nick Mason the drummer of the rock band Pink Floyd has been named a CBE for his contribution to music while Mike Peters of the Alarm has been made a MBE for charity work in the Queen’s New Year honours list.

Ed Sheeran in legal bind over hit song ‘Thinking Out Loud”

Ed Sheeran lost his bid to have the legal action over his hit song ‘Thinking Out Loud’ after the US District Judge Louis Stanton, ruled that a jury should decide the verdict over claims Sheeran’s song had strong similarities to Marvin Gaye’s 1973 hit ‘Lets Get It On. The late Marvin Gaye’s song was co-written with by the late Ed Townsend. It was a US chart topping track.
