Essay competition on Turkey’s role as a regional power
View(s):The Turkish Embassy with the cooperation of the Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum (SLMMF) will organise an essay competition with the aim of rewarding career journalists and prospective journalists for their knowledge in international relations.
The competition is open to career journalists and students of journalism. The topic of the essay is “Turkey and her role in the region and the world as a regional power”. The essays should be written only in English, and the word count should be between 750 and 1,000 words.
Please send your essays on or before December 31, along with you contact details and documents to prove your studentship or employment at a media institution, to the Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum either by post to “Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum, 41/2, Vijitha Road, Nedimala, Dehiwala”, or by email to muslimmediaforum@gmail.com.
If you are sending your essays via email, please write in the subject line, “Essay Competition” followed by your name.
The first prize winner will receive a laptop and a camera, the second prize winner a laptop and the third prize winner a camera.
