Research agency Nielsen Lanka has been assigned by the Regional Development Department of the Central Bank (CB) to conduct a survey leading to developing a National Financial Inclusion Strategy for Sri Lanka.

In a public notice, the CB said the survey is in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation and aimed at collecting data and information on financial inclusion. The survey will cover 480 Grama Niladari Divisions throughout the country to “collect information on the level of awareness, usage, attitude and perception on financial products and service,” the CB said.
It has requested the public to cooperate with the survey.
