Harsha Ekanayake U-23 best powerlifter
Vijaya College Matale emerged boys (28 bonus points) and girls (15 points) champions respectively at the National Junior Power-Lifting Championships 2018 which was concluded recently at Maithree hall in Bandaragama. It was organised and conducted by Sri Lanka powerlifting association.
In the history of national junior power lifting championships held so far, this is the first time. Vijaya College Matale has won both boys and girls titles
Harsha Ekanayake, who is also the head prefect of Vijaya college was adjudged as the best powerlifter in the U/23 age-category. Vijaya powerlifters were coached by Indrajith Fernando with Salinda Prabath as his deputy.
